Looking for a quiet but boujie spot for your next dressy date night? I got you!

Cozy chic bar

If you're anything like me, there's nothing better than getting dressed up for a nice dinner. The restaurants on this list are perfect for a special occasion date night like an anniversary or Valentine's Day, but aren't too stuffy, fancy or pricey. If you're looking for something more casual, this is not that list (but I will post one soon)!

For me, a romantic date night spot is one that has moody lighting, intimate seating, not too many families/large groups, great music (a live band or a good playlist) and is not too large. This list has my top 5 favorite spots (and one bonus) in no particular order.

Location: Cotton Tree Plaza, East Bay Street

This wine-focused restaurant is one of the first things I think of when I think date night. When you enter the restaurant, the walls are filled with wooden shelves of wines in a dimly lit, small space. The outside patio though, is perched under what has to be the biggest cotton tree in Nassau, with twinkling string lights. Most nights there is some form of live music.

The menu has a nice variety of handhelds, pastas, flatbreads and meat/seafood entrees.

Location: Harbour Green Shopping Plaza,

West Bay Street

This tropical, pink-themed bistro is the epitome of charming and romantic. The outdoor patio has a jungle aesthetic with string lights and vintage decor.

The menu is french-inspired with some Bahamian flair. Mostly meat/seafood based entrees but definitely something for everyone. The portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price but the ambiance, drinks and service offer more value.

sushi

Location: 1 Skyline Drive, Cable Beach

This is hands down one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Nassau. It is always consistent and has high quality ingredients from the seafood down to the wasabi and soy sauce.

The indoor ambiance is super dark, modern and sexy with an asian flair, which makes this perfect for date night.
